The world is an uncertain place. To thrive, and often to simply survive, we must all grapple with, and overcome, a broad selection of risks. The most successful among us are those who respect risk, but also recognize the presence of risk as opportunity.
While any risk can lead to significant damage or loss, one risk in particular has larger-scale implications for our long-term prosperity: leadership risk. To mitigate leadership risk and make a society healthier, happier and safer, good leaders with good decision making skills are needed at all levels and across all human endeavors.
This site is dedicated to two related concepts: leadership and risk, or alternatively, decision making (a leadership function) in the face of uncertainty (risk). The site's purpose is to assist readers in becoming better leaders, risk takers and decision makers. The content spans the following:
